Hi Ben,
1) Changing usernames: I am unable to change usernames for now, but many users are asking for this so I will try to make this a possibility.
2) Prioritize R2 over R3: Set the shift as "R2 or R3". Then create a Tally for these shifts. Set a low (but realistic) Tally Target for the R3s, and a higher (but realistic) Tally Target for the R2s. That should help push the R2s towards those shifts.
2.1) Is there a way to make a Tally for shifts? Yes, there is. Tallies are fully customizable. Each Tally can include any or all of your shfits. So you can create a Tally that counts all shifts, a Tally for the J1, a Tally for J2 and one for J3, etc...
While editing schedules you can see the Tally total for the whole year by hitting the "menu" in the Tally column and selecting "display totals for the entire year".
You can also see tallies for the entire year by going to Manage Call/Shift Schedule -> Residents Tab. There is a secondary tab there with Tally totals.
I hope that helps. Regards,
