When you make a tally for a schedule, is it only looking at that month for that schedule, or accross schedules. Is there any way to set up a tally by week? Or if it is for the whole month, can we have a tally that goes accross schedules. What I'm trying to do is we have some people that will work at one hospital one week, then another the next week, and another the next week, and I want the randomizer to take into account their goal hours across all hospitals. So for example, intern A works on average 62 hours per week no matter what department he is working in.

Tally totals are displayed for the current block only in the Schedule editing view. You can optionally display the total for that schedule for the year by clicking the "menu" link at the top of the Tally column. Tallies are specific to a single schedule.

I see you've made 1-week-long blocks for some of your Call/Shift Schedules. I strongly recommend against doing this. The program is designed with the expectation that blocks are longer. Duty Hour rules, Tallies and the Randomizer may each work incorrectly with such short blocks. You already made the master schedule with 1-week granularity so the residents will be put in the right place at the right time, even with the longer blocks. Again, I strongly recommend going to 4-week blocks to avoid problems.

As far as the 62-hours of work per week limit goes, the new Duty Hours interface will allow you to control this and have it apply across schedules. I am working on this new interface now and I plan to have it available by the end of the month if all goes well.
