Leave Request date stamp

I was wondering if there would be any way that you could add a date stamp to the Leave Requets. For Example if Dr. A put in a request for 12/30 off and he submitted that on 11/20, if you could show the date that was submitted and also the date that or if it was ever modified? Just one thing that I was looking at that would help me tremendously.

Thank-you for the input. I think showing a date-stamp with the requests after they have been accepted is a good idea.

In the near-term I can add a last-modified date-stamp fairly easily.

Showing both last-modified and initial-submission dates will be harder, so I will probably wait before doing that.

That would be great!! Thank you for that! It is much apprecaited on this time as we run into this quite often!

One more question on another note. What about being able to divide residents/attendings into groups and being able to see how many are off at the same time? Like a calendar view? Or some way that it would flag you if you had too many providers out?

I know I am asking for a lot, but I figure it doesn't hurt to ask! :)

The "Residents" tab in the "Edit Block" section of the program displays a timeline with all the requests for the residents in the block you are editing. It should be fairly easy to spot the days during which many people are away and act accordingly. From that view you can grant or deny requests as necessary.

Hi Olivier,

You mentioned that adding a "last modified date stamp" would be fairly easy. Since our requests are first-come, first-serve and I don't know until the schedule is mostly made which requests are impossible to accommodate, it would be extremely useful to have that date stamp. Just throwing that out there!

This is now done. You can see a timestamp of when each request was made (if it was made by residents through the Schedule Viewer) when you look at a list of requests.
