You can now change your Account Name

Hi everyone,

You can now change your Account Name (the name you use to log in to the MedRez.net Scheduling Tool to edit schedules). Many of you have requested this, and although it was a bit of a battle to get it all working, you can now change your name.

To change your Account Name, start by emailing support@medrez.net or leave a message in the comments below indicating you'd like to change your name. I have to unlock this capability in each account manually.

Once the feature is unlocked on your account, you have seven days to change your name before it locks up again.

To actually change your name go to "Your Account" from the main page, and scroll down to "Change Account Name", click on the link and follow the steps.

Account Names must be at least 6 characters, and composed of letters and numbers only. For your security your old Account Name will be reserved for your account (nobody else will be able to use it).

Hello. Is the changing the account name the same as changing the user name. If so, I would like to change the user name.

Indeed the "Account Name" is the same thing as the "Username". It's the name you use to log in to the Scheduling Tool to edit schedules. I should have made that clear.

I have unlocked the "Change Account Name" form on your account.

To change your Account Name log in to the MedRez.net Scheduling Tool as if you were going to edit schedules, then click on "Your account" in the upper right side of the main page. Near the bottom you will find a link to "Change Account Name".
