Highlighting unfilled shifts

It would be great if there was a way to highlight unfilled shift to see where coverage is still needed. Or have empty shifts show certain color, then in a different color once staffed.

Any updates on this feature request? This is something that would be a huge benefit and would greatly decrease the number of errors once could potentially make when scheduling. This is especially true for shifts that require more than 1 resident or residents of different PGY levels, as it is difficult to easily tell visually if a shift is filled to specification.

Thank you for writing and checking on this. Sadly I don't have any updates yet. While I completely agree with you that this will be a good feature to add, there are other areas of the program that are due to be updated soon.

For those who are both slightly technically inclined and looking for this feature soon, a workaround is to use the inspector/developer console function of your browser to modify the CSS background-color attribute for the style "div.shift-staffs div.empty-staff" to be red or yellow some other color that you wish to use to highlight unfilled shifts.
