Hi, two feature requests that would continue to make MedRez more robust:
1) Saving draft schedules: Would be nice to be able to save a draft of a block schedule. We frequently play around with schedule adjustments to see how they would work out, and if we end up changing our minds, there's no easy way to restore the previous state. What we've been doing is exporting as PDF and manually restoring, but being able to save a draft would be much easier.
2) Archiving old residents: In the current state, if a resident is "trashed," their names disappear off past block schedules. It would be nice to be able to maintain a record of past years' schedules, but simultaneously also prune the list of residents so it's not cluttering up the interface for people to find their names and submit requests, etc. Perhaps one way could be a feature to be able to "archive" or "hide" old residents without actually deleting them and clearing them from past schedules.
Thanks

Hello stanfordccm,
Thank you for your feature requests, I agree with both of them.
I think that a solution to deal with the growing list of old residents is likely to happen fairly soon. I suspect the right solution to the problem is to filter lists of residents to only show residents active in the selected year.
I definitely see the need to save versions of a schedule as you're working on it to be able to return to saved versions. However with all the others things I need to work on, this one will happen a little later unfortunately.
Thank you again for your suggestions.
