Hello everyone,
Today around 3pm Pacific time the main MedRez.net server went down. The MedRez.net Scheduling Tool and Schedule Viewer became unavailable for just under an hour.
This incident was out of my control. The service provider said that emergency maintenance was required on the physical machine that runs the MedRez.net server. Once this maintenance was finished, MedRez.net started back up and normal operation resumed.
I am very sorry for any inconvenience this incident may have caused. This, fortunately, is a very rare occurence for the service. I am quite proud of the reliability of MedRez.net -- it's been years since we've had this level of unplanned downtime.
Although I'm hopeful for another few years of steady service from our service provider, I'll explore ways to mitigate the consequences of such an outage.
