The MedRez.net Scheduling Tool has been updated. This new update focuses on the Schedule Viewer and attempts to remedy many of the gripes that were voiced by customers this Summer.

Residents and Staff can now search for their schedules

The MedRez.net homepage is now equipped with a search box. Type in your institution's name to find your published schedules. There is no longer any need to bookmark pages or find an email with the link.

NOTE to schedule makers: Making your account searchable is optional and turned off by default. Turn it on in your account's Settings page.

PDF Export of your personal schedule

Each resident or staff can now save and print a personalized PDF file that includes everything related to your schedules in one place.

The PDFs are neat, compact, and easy to read. See below.

Improved Calendar View

You can now see all details of a shift or call or clinic, like start and end times, by clicking its name in Calendar View.

In addition shifts in the calendar view now stay lined up.

New way to view schedules: "By Resident"

The "By Resident" view shows your Call / Shift Schedules in a grid with the days along the top and the list of residents and staff along the left. It's an alternative to the Calendar and Agenda views that will work well for schedules where each resident or staff is doing something every morning and afternoon.

New PDFs for Call / Shift Schedules: "Agenda" and "By Resident"

Exporting your Call / Shift Schedule to PDF while in Agenda View will produce a PDF formatted as an agenda, and similar for "By Residents".

Other changes...

The list of schedules on your account's published schedules main page now only show one year at a time.

The Two-Week Overview that is present in the main page of your account's published schedules can now be hidden. Schedule makers: disable the two-week overview in your account's Settings page.

Thank-you to everybody who reported gripes and suggestions. I couldn't do everything that was asked but there will be more updates in the future.
